The Masks We Wear

We all wear masks, we always have been!

Some hiding their real self and esteem

and pretending to be some one else

Some hiding their ugly face

and covering it with a mock smile

Some pretending to be intelligent

while hiding their stupidity

Some pretending to be doing good

while sharpening their knife behind

Some hide their scheming minds

and display a phony smile

Some wear mask to show off their

wealth to demean others

Some pretend to be your friend

only to betray you when the time comes

Some hide their weakness and

allow others to exploit them

Some wear mask to hide their face

thinking that what's displayed is the real beauty

Some wear the mask of arrogance

thinking others are less important

But now, the time has come to remove those invisible masks and be ourselves

Wear the REAL MASK not just to protect or pretend but to protect self as well as the whole World

What an opportunity to come clean

and become real human and real heroes!!
