Story of Mr Wild and Mr Mild
Story of Mr Wild and Mr Mild
Mr Wild and Mr Mild were good friends,
And confided in each other now and then,
Mr Wild was erratic and hot natured (mirchi),
Mr Mild was accommodating and soft natured (misri),
Both got along well because opposites attract,
One day Mr Wild boasted by claiming :
"I always have a last word in any argument with my wife",
What about you, he asked Mr Mild with arrogance,
To which Mr Mild countered meekly by replying :
"I too have a last WORD always with my wife",
Mr Wild was surprised and blurted : "I can't believe you",
Mr Mild was unruffled and asserted : "I can't lie to you",
Mr Wild then demanded to know : "What is that last word",
Mr Mild obliged by replying honestly : "The last word always is SORRY" !
The moral of the story : A "sorry" a day keeps 10 sorrows away!
