Story Of Forgiveness

I have made mistakes,

I carry guilt and regrets.

All those times, when I could apologise,

I didn’t, when I had a chance to. 

Forgiveness is not about being okay with the wrong done,

It is to be ready to let go,

It is to forgive and move on. 

This was a story of forgiveness for me,

To accept the mistakes I have made, 

To accept the person I am today, 

To learn from the mistakes I have made,

To be a better person than I was yesterday.
