As night fell
the blue haze of the day
Drifted to reveal the countless stars
The bright stars
Feeling like a promise in the darkness
The causes of her distress now seemed rather harmless
The distant lights reached out to her heart
She closed her eyes and pulled her dry lips apart
A sigh escaped the tender lips
Her heart void of hate
So much
That even the stars cried
As they wrote her fate.
