Soul Scene

Soul Scene

1 min
340

                         Knees tied to the pole,

on a calm day …

The school path worse,

fear-slew!

The base of life vile,

Crown of steel.

A snake on the moon,

in the night sky …

Soul scene: Act one.

The cord-break!

No pause to mourn,

and, a head–drop.

Hope to love,

Play the role well …

Soul scene: Act two.

The door-shut!

Weeks, months, years

and the yard and count and?

   The sun high,

Cheeks yell in rage,

Tongue dumb but sharp!

A break bid a sword,

That cut the hand in the glove …,

Brought the red, sack tale and, hope came in.
