Sometimes
Sometimes

Sometimes ...
I have the urge to shun concrete jungle
Breathe fresh air
Walk along meadows
Covered with fresh flowers
Lose myself to
Subtle whiff of aroma
Resplendent in every yard of morn
Watch colourful birds
Indulging in
Chirping and fluttering
Prompted by gentle touch of dawn
Sometimes...
I have the urge to gaze at
Drops of dew
Smiling and showcasing
Their glistening hue
Sometimes i am impelled to
Intensely observe
Talkative parrots
Perched above the waning and yawning
Street light
A couple of busy hens
Emerging from
Remains of night
Welcoming onset of another day
In their gleeful way
Sometimes the urge
To remain in sync with nature
Goads me to go for a leisurely stroll
Down the long meandering path
Reboot self and overhaul
Pen a story
Initiate with the wild peacocks
Basking in crowning glory
A gentle shallow stream
That i come across
Remains far from spate
Invites to experience
A walk across its bed
Rustle of leaves
As one treads cautiously
Whispers in the ear
"touch as many lives as you can
Before the knell shows the way to go"
Many a times
I must admit
A simple moment
In a larger journey
Offers more than expected
In the progress of life and time.
