Someday

Sometimes in this mechanical world,

All you could ask for,

Is peace.

Sometimes in this mad world,

All you could ask for,

Is happiness.

A moment with someone you love,

Beneath the shade of an oak tree,

Perhaps in a garden full of flowers,

That bloom, with happiness.

The sun shining, rising, smiling,

The birds dancing in a little pound of water.

The eyes sparkling with wonder of your love,

Smile, immortal.

Hair playing with the blowing wind,

Your family beside you,

Laughing, playing, happy.

The day will be long,

There will be no pain.

Only them, and happiness.

Their laughter won't be faded,

There will be life in all of us,

There will be light,

No one will fight.

Dancing, singing, laughing at the lamest jokes.

That's all I ask for,

From this mechanical world.

But sometimes realization comes too late,

As I lie here, wishing for just one more day,

My loved ones looking down at me,

Helpless, crying, holding my hand.

My dreams looking at me from a distance,

Painfully vanish because I never painted them to reality.

I wish on the other side,

I will get a chance again,

To relive just one more day,

My way.

I wish to love them

Whom I never saw,

I will hold their hand,

And whisper to them about my love,

They all will smile.

And then we will sing until the sun sets

Under the shade of that oak tree

We will sleep hand in hand.

Counting the stars,

I will be happy that day.

We all will be happy someday.
