Snake Strikes?

I went outside for your sake

I got down from my bike

I was surrounded by a lake

I was confronted by a snake

Dealing with it is not a piece of cake

With my whole life at stake

My body started to quake and shake

I felt my body parts got broke

Who's help shall I seek

What decision shall I make

It is not a time to fake

It is certainly not a time to joke

With my inner soul awake

I never made an attempt to provoke

With no revenge to take

Snake refused to strike
