Silence
Silence

After the day you left
All the festivals I faced,
I adorned myself with silence
And the lights of happiness
Couldn't survive in my
Eternal darkness
I was drowning, though
Swimming was my skill,
In the appalling loneliness,
That had filled my heart, Up to the brim
Not like others, I was a special flower
Blossomed in autumn
Hence, destiny picked me easily
And placed in a garland, where I couldn't fit
I even told you to not to break my heart
It is already in pieces
Like shards of glass, they prick
Every day, every night
Beneath my skin.
