Mocked by society,
Struck by grief,
Eyes full of tears,
No place to weep.
"Slut" she was called,
"Shamed" was she...
And those evil men,
They were set free.
Ripped were her clothes,
Thrown on the street was she.
But they questioned her instead "What was she doing there at night so free?"
First her clothes were torn apart,
Hearing this her hopes were too!
What was her fault?
That she was a 'he' with an 's'?
Or that she wore an inappropriate dress?
In a country where we talk of women empowerment,
There hasn't been any law made by the government,
To stop criminalizing the sufferer
And freeing the despotic murderer.
Ashamed should be them who committed those actions.
Suffer should they who caused those reactions.
Wipe her tears, lend her an ear.
Help her let go of her fear.
Provide her with justice,
For the country's betterment it must is!
RAPE ISN'T A DISEASE,
IT WON'T SPREAD BY CONTACT!
MAKE THE POPULATION AWARE,
CERTAINLY, IT WOULD MAKE A HUGE IMPACT!
