Alright, so here's the thing

Still sore from your love's sting

Embedded in my veins

Derailed me, crazy train

Try to recover, so-so it goes

On the mend, absorbed the blows

Yet as months pass by

Ain't a day I couldn't have cried

Never more, room for another

My heart shut down, mind smoothered

Smiles, laugh, no matter how many

Wishes to go back, nearly infinity

Trying to practice what I tend to say

Yet my soul's more empty, day by day

No hard feelings, just sucks ya see

For there to be a you, without a me

Us was a fuss, for better or worse

My life as a song, you're in every verse

Its like a bad dream, that'll never end

My life as a movie, cliff hanged again

So even with the plot is rearranged 

Interest lost, no matter the changes

One sweet day, we will dance once more

A love lost its wings, before it could soar

Not to say, chances weren't had

But say I may seem, I was only a fad

Know I wasn't the softest of hearts

Yet you were its fill, from the start

Sunshine and rain, fall of the snow

Seasoned my life, richer than ya know

Forever in my soul, your touch will shine
