Set Me Free
Set Me Free
Sitting on the rooftop one night,
I was staring at the sky.
The cool winter breeze touched me,
And I smelt freedom.
It took me closer to myself,
And my heart whispered, "Set me free."
The wind replied back,
We all have problems.
Reasons known-unknown,
Just let your anger flow through you.
Feel free to cry,
And you will know how strength feels.
I know, it hurts when you fall.
Greatest defeat is not,
In the battle with others,
But when you lose from your own-self.
Just let your imagination run wild.
And face yours emotions.
The next night,
The cool winter breeze touched me,
And I smelt freedom.
It took me closer to myself,
And my heart whispered,
"Someone discover me please."
Now the breeze touched my hair,
And said,
"The cage is your mind,
And the key is your heart.
Forget about your mind,
And give your heart a chance,
Give your life a new start."
I closed my eyes,
And found myself floating in the sky.
I will one day definitely be discovered,
I know and not by someone else, by me.
Sitting on the rooftop one night,
I was staring at sky.
The cool winter breeze touched me,
And I lived freedom.
It took me closer to myself,
And my heart shouted, "I am free."
