Safe

In the darkest forest, I was guided by thy voice...

I searched for the source, but it lingered on...

No lost soul nor shadow could I find,

Yet within me, I knew the voice was thine.

'Twas the voice of that man, distant yet near,

As I approached, sorrow grew clear.

For upon reaching, I feared the silence,

Not hearing thee until our next dalliance.

He is the mystery, i am bound to solve,

The soul with whom my heart loves to involve.

I reached my red line, the stars clearer to gaze,

The air singing the songs to remove that haze..

It felt peace, happy, fun and safe...

'Twas as if thou were there with me,

For with thee,

This night is not dark,

This heart is not closed,

This body is not cold,

And this love do no longer weep.

where ever I am I feel safe.....

'Tis safe.

With thee, 'tis safe.
