Running along time,

Running along people,

Running for honor,

Running for fame,

Running for independence,

Running for desires,

Running for ​passion,

Running for aim,

Running for power,

Running for money,

Running for romance,

Yet another rat race to win 

Or maybe new life, still to begin

List of endless desires 

Corrupts you from within, or as an entire

Truth is nothing lasts forever

Though, some say you either last as a king or a beggar 

I say why to run, just work on being bigger and better

Bigger and better as a person 

Just be your own best version

Why to keep wishing for more

When happiness can be achieved being around the one you adore

I know this won't buy you food to eat or place to live 

But lets be happy in what you can achieve 

And, substantially learn the ability to give.

​Make the change, things would be arranged

Be a hand which lends and slowly the things will mend

Make world a better place, 

But I do know, it would still be an endless race
