Roads were blocked but, not the minds- My COVID-19 Journey of Reading

Our lives were going so well ,

Until Coronavirus came,

Once it came, we got a nice long break,

We were safe but , not parents

We were at home, they had to go out for work,

We were stopped from going out to play

We were bored at home, we had paused our lives...

Lockdown was to be applied , Hands were to be sanitized.

We were bored at home, we had to pause our lives...

I had a thought to get a good habit;

The question was, what be the habit?

Suddenly a thought struck my mind,

What be better than to read;

The parents were happy but not me.....

The question was again on door!!

Where were the books?

Suddenly an idea struck my mind,

Why not get technology to work

Opened the laptop; Searched for good authors' books

We got bored at home, we had paused our lives,

I chose the books of the famous author- Sudha Murthy

She had got books of my taste,

The reading started and went on.....

Online schools started but the reading wasn't given up....

This was my COVID-19 journey of reading....
