Rising Storm

Lightning strikes, thunder booms

The wind picks up, the sky looms

A storm is coming, fierce and strong

It won't be long, till it's upon

The trees bend, the leaves dance

The raindrops fall, a wild romance

Nature's power, on full display

A symphony, in disarray

The darkness grows, the light recedes

The world shakes, the earth heaves

The tempest rises, to take control

A rising storm, on a roll

Chaos reigns, as the winds howl

The storm's fury, is on the prowl

Lightning flashes, across the sky

A fierce battle, you can't deny

The storm will rage, till it's done

And in its wake, a new world's begun

The calm will return, after the fray

Till the next rising storm, comes to play.
