Remember

When I saw my beloved near,
With her lovely hands and eyes so dear,
With her sweet smile that brightened my day,
I felt my love grow deeper in every way.

When we lived together, side by side,
Our hearts were happy, our love our guide.
We shared our moments, our dreams, our care,
And found such beauty in being a pair.

Every moment we spent together
Made me wish to stay with her forever.
Walking hand in hand along the way,
We shared our love throughout each day.

I remember her smile, so warm and bright,
Her lovely hands that held me tight.
I remember her eyes, so full of grace,
And the happiness I found in her embrace.

But when my beloved went away,
My heart remembered her night and day.
Every moment brought her back to me,
Like a precious dream across the sea.

I remember her smile, her gentle touch,
The little things I loved so much.
I remember her eyes, her lovely face,
And long to hold her in my embrace.

Each day, I whisper my beloved's name,
Though life without her is not the same.
My heart still dreams of the love we knew,
And hopes that our love will begin anew.

When night arrives and I close my eyes,
I see my beloved beneath dream-filled skies.
I long to hear her sweet, lovely voice,
And feel the happiness of our hearts' choice.

In dreams, I hold her close to me,
As happy and peaceful as love can be.
Our lips meet softly in a tender kiss,
And I wake longing for that moment of bliss.

Though distance may keep us far apart,
Her lovely memories live within my heart.
Through every dream and every day,
My love remembers her, come what may.

For love is a memory time cannot erase,
A lasting feeling no distance can replace.
Together or apart, wherever I may be,
My heart will remember her endlessly.
