Which hero can I see when I blink.

Rani Lakshmi Bai was the one,

Who is irreplaceable by anyone.

'Manu' was her maiden name, 

For her bravery she got fame.

She was only four when her mother died, 

Father stood always by her side.

She had the courage and presence of mind, 

To fight the British who were unkind.

To attain swaraj, heroically she fought, with her son tied on her back,

She sacrificed her life, without any fear, taking her back.

She is an inspiration to all,

She is admired by all.

She is the nation's pride,

'Jhansi ki Rani' in the pages of history- will never hide.
