Rampant Regrets

I left my house and traversed wide 

                 in search of colours in dark and light,

For nights and days 

                 I sought for a thousand different ways;

I was drawn to the empty shows,in vain, for more gain

                 never realising that it caused you pain.

Then you were torn 

                 yet I moved on and on,

Until, I lost 

                 all, I thought, I loved most...

But now that I come back to you

                 with a heart frozen with cold dew,

I realise that I was wrong 

                 in not calling my house a "home";

'Cause now I know that without you,my life is so dull

                 it is void and completely null,

So I wish that you'll always be there to lead me through life's maze,

                 With you by my side, the world will be a better place!
