Dreams In The Dungeons
Dreams In The Dungeons
Close your eyes and do not dream
Hold your breath, no matter how hard it might seem.
Shut your ears, no song, no music!
Can you hear your heart thud and kick?
Finger on your lips, not to make a sound,
Yet your head keeps spinning round and round.
Make a face and pinch your nose,
Yet, the stench remains, evenly close.
Wash your wounds and dust your skin,
Do you recall the last time you had a kin?
The faster and faster you run through life,
The deeper and deeper in despair you dive.
All you want is to shine brighter than the stars,
When will you learn to patch your gaping burnt scars?
