Raindrop

Raindrop

I am that raindrop

On your window-pane

That awaited your touch.

Though your paltry love

Could have saved it

In your veil,

Your eyes loved to witness

The procession

Towards oblivion.

I whimpered,

But your smug smile

Confirmed your hatred.

I kissed the dust and you acquired copacetic happiness.
