Rain Not Love
Rain Not Love
Tiny drops of love; sacred indeed
Expression of love, shining indeed,
Sodden every being does get
Few get drenched in love.
Heavens do not separate souls from another,
Souls know not souls beside,
Lovers wait not for the season of love,
As rain pulls the spirit into the vessels of love.
As these pearls descend from the pearly gates
They come on with a purpose,
A purpose of coloring the world,
A purpose to let one live love.
Rain is neologism,
An expression expressing every feeling.
The zeal of being engrossed in love,
Is the fervour one experience in paradise.
How I wish there was someone I could say was mine.
Someone who could call me their's
Someone who could care for me
Someone I would die for.
Rains wet even my territory,
Alas! The season of love they bring not.
When it rains,
No heart skips a beat for me,
No eyes brighten for me,
No lips moisten for me.
Rain, come not to my land anymore,
As love is not what you bring along,
My body and soul remain still,
How long are my breaths to go on?
