Loneliness
Loneliness
Agony of loneliness is what I bear,
Why friend, even a foe should ne’er schlep what I log.
Oh when will the halcyon tranquilize my ticker,
Which is now a sea, a sea with perturbed waters,
Waters hitting my bosom, which bleeds from within?
The pains are immense, I cannot tote.
Fortuitous are those, that forgather,
Sympathy by exhibiting their wounds.
They bear pain for a jiffy, as the flint bears fire
My wounds I cannot show, my agony only I can bear.
How long am I to bear this misery of loneliness?
Mortals there are everywhere,
Not one with a soul I see.
Sans soul humans live on earth,
Can heavens quench my thirst?
Waiting, I have been for the time to ripe,
A paragon is what I am looking for.
In this kinetic world with its, Charlatan glitz and glamour
Impossible indeed, as I look for a true countenance.
But not everything my heart accepts,
And loneliness is the only comrade canonical.
