I'm the same sperm that swam 

past the millions to

embraced a solitary egg, 

which coldly embraced me back.


I remember , oh I remember

each that lost gave me a look of looks

before perishing one by one

in front of my chivalrous eyes.


It was some forty years ago.

Yeah, four decades before realization came 

of a treacherous race

meant to pick the least,the lost 

the unluckiest.
