FLYOVERS AND POEMS

Flyovers, once opened, had a poetic   

 effect themselves, made poems  

  redundant was the leading argument.

That they moved in two different

 dimensions-flyovers and poems- even   

 as both carried people over pedestrian

 things was also brought to light.

It was futile I pleaded apple  

and orange analogy works    

with flyovers and poems.

Until the descent of heaven was in sight

 poems could wait was how  

 they finally summed it up.
