Purgatory

Purgatory

She sits alone

If you were to walk into her room

It may seem silent

Yet her thoughts are voices

Echoing--

Only if walls could talk

As time tics away

Haunted by all of yesterday's

She remains still

Frozen--

Easily said to -- "let it go"

Every tear shed

Waters a flower-- yet instill

It grows

Standing alone

Her flesh fades

To bones

She speaks aloud

A voice fallen upon deaf ears

She stands in a mirror

Just to see if she's still here.
