Prompt 1: Nightmares of War

You ask me why can I never watch you fight 

Why everytime you leave, you hear me cry 

How am I supposed to explain this to you, my love 

What nightmares I have seen come to life?

Oh! My heart still remembers that day 

Watching our loved ones die away 

Looking at them fight for our sake 

Their bloodied bodies on the ground 

While their families mourned at their fate 

And now, my heart's in a battle against my mind 

For the struggle still continues 

Having a battle to fight 

Though we know we will fall 

But their deaths must pay off
