Stop it! It's too much to take!

Nature's suffocating with this plastic waste!

Roads and drains and rivers too,

Filled with polythene bags and rubber tubes...

Easy to buy and easier to discard,

What happens next, ever gave it a thought?

The plastic bag doesn't ever die,

On soil or in water forever it lies...

Choking the drains where it goes,

Filling the rivers and stealing its show...

Along with their food, animals find and eat it,

Slowly they fall dead, unable to digest it..

If only we humans had paid some attention,

World wouldn't be facing such a great tension...

Tonnes of plastic lay all around,

Lots in the ocean and a lot more of the ground...

Remember folks we all need to know,

We need this earth to survive and grow..

Stop ignoring and start realising your mistake,

Reduce using plastic and reduce creating plastic waste.
