Pink

Pink, they say is the colour of compassion and care.

It reminds me of my mother when she laughs.

Pink is the colour which fights to fit in.

So It reminds me of my boundaries.

Pink, I remember was the colour of my childhood.

Oh, How I never said, I wanted that blue dress.

How I was never believed when I said I liked black.

But I was happy that I made my dolls wear any colour they wanted.

Pink, they say, is the colour of femininity.

Oh, yes it is! It depicts compassion, love, happiness and what not.

And next time a boy demands a pink t-shirt, Let him buy it.

Make him differentiate between good and bad. Not pink and blue.
