Pillow

The inanimate 

Pillow 

is better than you. 

Without 

Any reluctance, 

Offers me 

Her contour.

Dropping tears 

On her bosom, 

I drain 

My sadness. 

Like a loyal aide, 

She lullabies me 

And 

Her invisible 

Fingers caress 

My tired eyes.

Dream becomes 

Her coterie 

And 

Doesn't bring you 

To my town, 

Maybe they 

Are all aware 

Of your mala fide. 

Yes, 

The inanimate 

Pillow 

is better than you 

And 

I am happy 

Being cocooned 

In her arms.
