Phoenix

Amidst web of truth and lies,

Mind wails and heart cries,

The hidden motives I do despise,

Pierced soul and blade of dark incise,

Bloated egos self-eulogize,

Forbidden! injure, torment and agonize,

To escape, ways and means I devise,

Love ballad and melancholic reprise,

Sorrows stay behind but time flies,

Grief embraces life and pain dies,

From ashes like a phoenix I rise, 

Embalmed and immortalized after demise,
