PEOPLE PROTEST

PEOPLE PROTEST

An interesting title.

How should we punctuate it?

Make a call to action?

PEOPLE PROTEST!!!!!!

A call for an explanation?

PEOPLE PROTEST??

Two words: people (plural),

Or a casual disinterest,

People? Protest? WTF.

Protest? The act of declaring

 their annoyance with

Or opposition to something.

Yes? You are in agreement?

I protest!!! Why? I can, it is my right to,

In a democracy. I protest!! What should I do?

Write a letter to the editor of a well-known newspaper;

Arrange a scene that is featured in the daily news.

You align yourself with people (persons?)

Of a similar point of view. Understanding the issue?

That’s a hard one; requires a methodical examination.

Examination be damned. Name a phenomenon;

Declare opposition to it. Like the truckers in Canada?

The protestors occupying the front lawn of Parliament?

They want an end to mandates, all mandates;

Laissez Faire all the way, to oblivion.

Protests, and mass protests, are interesting phenomena;

They have a catch-cry; a slogan; under which individuals

Or groups find an agreement, sufficient enough for them

To join. How many reasons to be part of a protest;

How many people are protesting?

In a democracy, they have that right.

As long as it’s peaceful, I hear you say.
