Peace Was A Luxury
Peace Was A Luxury
The grey clouds
Hover over the
Lifeless soldiers
Drenched in blood
Their lives filled with
Memories of violence
And bloodshed
Peace was a luxury
They could never afford
Even after death
Their bodies lie cold
In gruesome conditions
The look of misery still
Evident on their weary faces
Their graves are filled with
Eerie silence
Peace was still a luxury
Which they could not afford.
