Paralyzed
Paralyzed
Heads held high,
They stare at the sky,
Unblinking as tears roll down,
Damping the grass on the ground,
Desperation struck across their face,
Letting out aching sobs,
Praying to the angels with fallen grace,
Paralyzed in their place,
Praying for things of which they are all unaware,
Overwhelmed yet blank with thoughts,
Moans and thoughts not easy to cohere,
Looking for a release from their wrecking affairs,
They all still continue to stare,
With heads still staring into the blue void,
Waiting for angels' unheard voices,
Somehow holding their ground for so long,
Before they collapse and collide,
With dust soaked in their sorrowed cries,
Till their eyes lose the glistening life,
And their hearts and heads,
Come to stagnation and permanent haul.
