My thoughts sailed the paper boat;

Wishing it would reach you someday,

You could find it in the river nearby. 

Sure I am your heart would skip all its beats after seeing it...

Just hold my boat in your lovely palms; 

And unfold it with little care, 

A little letter for you secretly kept there. 

I could sense your heart dancing with sheer happiness... 

You would remember those good old days; 

But could never bring them back again, 

Those flashing memories would give you only pain.

I know you'd smile wiping the tears in your eyes. 

Sorry, I couldn't keep my promise;
