Our True Direction

In the waves of change, we find our true direction

When the waves start dying down, we see a new reflection

A storm out on the open sea can really shake things up

Come a time in all our lives we drink from this same cup

In these mighty waves of change, we find out who we are

Nothing strange about it, not at all bizarre 



Sometimes far from easy, change at times is rough 

You'll come out on the other side a person twice as tough

It's surely going to happen, it's just a fact of life

Trying to resist it will cause you only strife

Change is always taking place, it happens all the time

You've had your share in your life, Ive had my share of mine

Time is always changing, seasons changing too

No way to prevent it, its just what these things do

When the waves start calming down we see a new reflection

For in the waves of change we find our true direction
