Spiritual Aspirant
Spiritual Aspirant
A dark spirit threatened to quell my learning hunger
It transformed itself into a fear monger
I couldn't vent out my pent-up anger
When it tried to pounce on me like a voracious tiger,
I beheld a spirit in the dense foliage
It transcended the barrier of age
It is the divine spirit of sage
It freed me from emotional baggage
I wonder why I could see through fissures and crevices
Am I responsible for the university lapses?
If I don't learn to hold my senses
I will fall prey to what dark energy chooses
Overwhelmed by the overgrowing toxicity,
I wander about to find a place of sanity
I can't pull the strings of reality
I just need to get inoculated against high sensitivity
The world says change is the only constant
Evil freaks can't always be your mind tenant
If you become a spiritual aspirant
You will enjoy the significance of every moment
I reconcile with the inexorable power within me
I can feel the divine energy coursing through me
The path of transformation has found me
The tears of ecstasy have drenched me
Past festered thoughts can't cook my conscience
Spirituality has kept my life in balance
I know how to romance with silence
I have reinforced my soul with copious patience
My trembling hands have learnt to become steady
My sensitive mind is liberated from society's custody
Nothing can pull me towards horrific tragedy
Because my soul has built itself to be sturdy
