Our Savior
Our Savior
Many dressed in covering shields for a war.
Some in white, some in khaki.
They decided to stay in danger.
Without complaining about their sleep and hunger.
In service beyond duty.
They are our Saviors.
Masks stole our smiles yesterday,
When we hear people suffering today,
It doesn't matter if we are young or old
Rich or poor, healthy or sick previously.
The invisible enemy continues to take
More and more lives.
Weak is panicked,
Anyone can be the next prey.
If it defeats our lungs,
We are not allowed to breathe air outside.
And staying indoors is making someone crazy.
Every helping hand is like angels in our land.
Tomorrow archives and history will read
Unthinkable way of life.
People risking their lives for crying people.
We call them warriors, our Saviour's.
The world around folded their hands.
Together we salute them and thank them.
