Our Childish Mind
Our Childish Mind
'Everyone will appreciate
Everyone will say good
Everyone will not let me depreciate
Everyone will praise my livelihood'
Maybe this is all we think sometimes
When our childish mind is going through brighter times
To think that adulthood is the best part of life
And that to be happy to live as an adult, for the rest of life
Perhaps you might think
'Why does this world wants me to sink
And not let me rise up
And let me make my own link'
And then comes the thought of living alone
Which perhaps I used to wonder about
Gushing to people who try to change me
To leave them and search for other's whereabouts
But when we ourselves are adults they say,
"Gone are the good old days"
Yet when we were young, we used to say the same
And now we suffer knowing well
That the taste of life has indeed changed
But ye who live alone are the best
Not ye who are lonely!
Take care of everyone's chest
And look at everything solely
Live alone, free from bonds
Live alone in silent self-fonds
You eat, you live, you die
There is nobody to criticize or lie
Keep in touch with loved ones,
I do say that
And not much that you miss out on the ones
Who've loved you more than their everything and all that!
