Opposites

I am an introvert,

While my best friend is an extrovert.

We are too different,

But through hardships, our friendship never had a dent.

She is the smart one,

While I'm the artistic one.

She is the sole heir,

While the responsibility of my sibling is mine to bear.

She has the makings of an engineer,

While my future is still unclear.

I'm the one who loves reading,

While she is the one singing.

I love risky business,

She stops me and tells me not to poke my nose into anyone's business.

Raccoon is what she calls me,

Skunk is what I call her as she lets me be.

She makes me laugh in sad times,

But our schedule has gotten tighter, so we get to meet sometimes.

I tell her everything,

As she is the only one who can handle the weird (me) being!
