One God, One Love

One God, One Love

My love is like a beacon in the night,

Guiding me through the darkest of plight.

With her by my side, I feel complete,

My heart beats for her, a steady beat.

Like an amulet, I keep her close,

In my heart, she is the one I chose.

My heart is like God's house, a sacred space,

I pray she never leaves this holy place.

For her love is all I need to survive,

In this world, I care not to strive.

With each passing day, my love for her grows,

And in my heart, her absence she never knows.

I'll bear the pain of our distance,

And hide my grief behind a false existence.

For in my tears, one can see,

The depth of my love, forever to be.

But my heart aches to see her once more,

To love her passionately, as if there were no other before.

For in this life, I'll love her only,

Like there is but one God above, so holy.
