I need Time to rest its wings;

There's still an empty leaf in my chronicle; I know for sure.

Let your fingers entangle with mine.

Memorize my scent a little more.

I need to quickly live through this twelvemonth again.

What do I blotch the last page with? What wishes here do I pour?

Embrace me a little tighter.

Kiss my cheeks a little more.

I need to ask for more of those fallen eyelids and shooting stars,

To keep us going through the new year we're about to explore.

Let my skin soak up all your tears.

Laugh with me a little more.

I need to believe that as we walk into the new age,

We are taking a step closer to Forever's shore.

I've said all that I had to; I've inked all that I had to.

There's nothing else to be written anymore.
