A Tenalach We Share

A Tenalach We Share

How you become the silky sands,

Titillating my bruised feet.

How you become a tinted zephyr,

Kissing my broken lips.

How you become the crested waves,

Taking me in and leaving me breathless.

How you become a Cicada's hum,

Holding me close; stroking my eyelashes.

I don't know what pulls me to you.

Maybe it's a tenalach we share.

That finds us along all life.

That loses us into nowhere.
