Ode To My Grandma

Tears rolled down my face,

As I reminisce your heavenly embrace.

You always showered blessings upon me,

Comprising of love, care that I could not see!

You gave me a penny whenever I asked for,

Loving me deeply and ignoring my flaw.

Your blissful eyes that sparkled in the moonlight,

I have now taken up a sudden flight!

The room where you breathed last,

Has echoes of my joyful past.

I know you loved me since the day I was born,

And all I can do now is sit back and mourn.

I wish I could tell you how much I adored you,

If only I knew that the days were few.
