Not all heroes wear a cape,
Not all heroes hold swords.
Some just hold smiles beautiful 
And hearts filled with unwoven words.

Anger? It's his love language,
But eyes carry love and hope.
Your arms strong and bold,
I found my world and a better scope.

You caught me when I feared to fall,
And cheered me when I won.
Your stories,jokes and gentle might,
Made me feel more loved than a son.

Dad, I'm your little princess, today and always
And you are my brave king everyday. 
Your every scold and hidden hopes,
Shaped my dreams, my wings and my way.

You never expected much in return,
But your soundless wishes I can hear.
And now I know you walked with me
In every sorrow and every cheer.

Today, on your day,
I offer a gesture 
To all your sacrifices, loves and hugs.
