I wish I could hold back the time,
Freeze a moment, make it mine.
Catch your laughter in a jar,
And keep it close when you're too far.

I wish I could mend every heart,
Patch the pieces torn apart.

And wipe away each silent tear.

I wish I could rewind the days,
Walk again those olden ways.
