Ode To A Brother
Ode To A Brother

Eyes that are brown and bright
Glow with wisdom full of light.
A conical face that tugs at heart
A charming smile which does its part.
A Face of wisdom which is alright
Hands of power combine the might.
A gentle soul wound at heart
Struck by grief caused by his elder's path.
A heap of sorrow overcame his heart for his elder could not care for his thought.
All his thoughts were to set things right and never in this turmoil did he lose his sight.
He climbed the peaks of mountains high
That left his elder even wry.
He took some blows to left an
d right but never did raise his finger might.
All he wanted was his brother to change and all he ever wished was to see him gain.
He was quick to grasp the meaning of life and at Thy Lotus feet he freed his strife.
(Poor old brother tainted at heart could learn of his love only when apart
He yearned and cried in bed alone for he knew that his deeds cannot be atoned
He silently asks inside for forgiveness to the kindred soul that showed him brotherliness.)
And now as you turn the Silver line with wisdom and grace that time abounds.
I wish you a diamond many more to come.
