I don't have to try,

I will just say why.

To the things that feel bad,

And make me feel sad.


My soul needs a break,

For my own happy sake.

I will make a new rule,

My heart is so cool.


I don't have to show,

Where I choose to go.

I will stay on my feet,

The feeling is sweet.


The world says, "Go fast!"

But that time is now past.

When I mean to say no,

Then the answer is so.


No to the things that take my sun,

No to the noise that makes me run.

No to the job that doesn't fit,

Yes to my spirit and my wit.


So please let me be,

Just let me feel free.

My limit is set, and
