No Nights To Stay...!!

I walk my path like an act in a play

Reading my lines but nothing to say

Waving hands to the cheering crowd

Only days to pass but no nights to stay

 

A new stage in every town

And every town on my way

Smiles, laughter, few tears for you

It’s a circle for me of a night and day

 

I cannot settle here forever

Even if my feet want me to stay

Living curse of a wanderers life

Fixed horizons with legs to stray

 

So don’t shed a tear for me

Watch me disappear by the bay

Just Keep a flame on your doorstep

Coz I may return for a night to stay
