No home in the air
No home in the air

When will we fly
Our wings are bound
We look at the sky
We don't look around
Then our wings are free
We soar in the air
But through blinding joy, we don't see
That we're alone over there
Our homes left behind
In one of those trees
Then no matter how hard we find
We won't find what we need
A place with childish memories
A place with a cherished past
Cages turned sanctuaries
It all happened so fast
We didn't stop to smell the roses
We didn't sing, we didn't tweet
Now I'll make sure to remember the moments
Of the next time we meet
I've now learnt how to fight
I won't let my offspring go there
Because once you take flight
There's no home in the air
